DOCTOR LACQUER CHROMOZONES COLLECTION (SWATCH & REVIEW)

Good evening lovelies! I hope you all are having a fabulous day! :) ...and if not, maybe this post can help cheer you up a little.

Today I have a bunch of pictures to show you! These polishes I'm going to share with you are part of Doctor Lacquer's new Chromozones Collection. There are 7 multichrome polishes (which are gorgeous btw...you'll see shortly), all of which are named after the Natural Wonders of the world.

So lets not make this post any longer with gibber-jabber...let's look at these gorgeous polishes!!

**These polishes were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy located in the tabs above.**

THE VOLCANO ON A CORNFIELD
Inspired by the Paricutin Volcano located in Michoacán, Mexico. It is a unique event and volcano because of its entire evolution, from creation to extinction was observed and studied.

These top 2 photos were captured outside and the others were captured inside to show the different color shifts (I did this with all of the colors btw. Also, I did not use a topcoat on any of the swatches, just the nail art).

So as you can see they do look different in each lighting, but I assure you it's the same polish. This one shifts between gold, light green and a medium green.

And just for some fun I added a little art ;) This is a stamp from Pueen, Pueen06. The colors I used were part of Wet N Wilds new collection, LAC - My Mani? and Careful, It's Vine-tage.

THE DANCE OF THE SPIRITS
The aurora polaris, or more specifically Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights), and Aurora Australis (Southern Lights) is a phenomenon caused by the collision of the solar wind and charged particles with our thermosphere.

This one has a very noticeable color shift in different lighting. As you can see above, the outside lighting it looks very blue, as opposed to the inside lighting it's mostly purple.

This polish was inspired by the Northern Lights and I think Angelyn did a great job with it. The color shift is mainly between blue and purple with a little bit of green and hints of red.

This is another stamp from Pueen, Pueen15 and Sinful Colors, Snow Me White.

THE BLOSSOM OF THE SEA
The Guanabara Bay in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is unique because of its topography - a bay surrounded by oddly shaped mountains (like the Sugarloaf, which is made out of granite and stands 1,299 ft!). This unique bay is a result of Serra do Mar mountain chain meeting the sea.

*Insert googly eyes here**

As you can see this one has strong color shifts from blue and purple with a little bit of copper, which unfortunately isn't really shown in my photos. You can see a little hint on my thumb in the photo below.

I realized after finishing this one that I was going a little stamp happy with Pueen, so after this one I do switch up the nail art :P This is Pueen73 stamped with Essie, Borrowed & Blue.

THE WORLD OF THE CORAL SEA
The Great Barrier Reef in the Coral Sea, on the coast of Queensland, Australia is the world's largest coral reef system, and is made up of 900+ islands and 2,900+ reefs! This pretty polish shifts through the colors of the sea! This place is the so HUGE that it can be seen from outer space! It is the world's biggest structure made by living organisms!

I feel as though I should start singing when I see this color :P I have no idea why...but is it not STUNNING!!??

This polish shifts from olive green and a medium green, but also through some blue as well, which again isn't really shown in my photos.

The second I opened my package from Angelyn and I saw this polish I absolutely knew I was going to create some sort of Halloween themed design...so this is my 'Cauldron Bubbles' :) I created it with watered down acrylic paint.

THE SMOKE THAT THUNDERS
Victoria Falls (or Mosi-oa-Tunya) in Zambia/Zimbabwe is the largest waterfall in the world, measuring one mile wide and 360 feet high!

I LOOOVE this one!! You all most likely know by now that I love my blues and this one is absolutely stunning!! (btw the bubbles are not in this polish, they were in my base coat and I didn't notice until picture time :S oops!).

This one has shifts from blue to purple, with subtle shifts from red to violet as well.

In certain lighting this color reminded me of those big beetles you see in the summer, so I thought it would be appropriate to use a stamp that (to me) looks like bug wings. The stamp is part of Winstonia's Second Generation of plates, it's plate W202 with Sinful Colors, Snow Me White.

...And! I wanted to share this photo to show you that these polishes do have sparkle in them...it's not noticeable in photos without a flash, but it is noticeable in person!

THE TRAIL OF TIME
The Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA offers an incomparable experience and a breathtaking view for anyone! This trail of time was carved by the Colorado River, and shows us million years of history.

After these last 2 you might just be like me...a puddle on the floor! Hahaha. These colors are so perfect I could melt! (Hence the little joke above).

This color obviously shifts between mainly purple and violet, with a little hint of red and copper.

With Halloween just around the corner I had to do another fun Halloween themed design. This one was actually inspired by the Spider charm which I bought from Winstonia. You can find it here: http://winstoniastore.com/special/3d-alloy-nail-art-bling-rhinestone-mustache.html. The spider web stamp I used was Bundle Monster BM13.

THE HEAD OF THE SKY
The majestic Mount Everest, also known as Sagarmatha in Nepal and Chomolungma in Tibet, stands 29,029 feet, and is the highest peak on Earth.

When I first swatched this polish, and even now I'm speechless! It's STUNNING!! :D

It's weird to me how noticeable this color shift is in different lighting...you should really see it on yourself! Being able to move your hand around to notice all of the beautiful colors is so fun! This one shifts between copper, red, gold and a little bit of green.

I thought it would be fun to use gold to stamp over this polish so I used China Glaze, Passion and Winstonia Plate W206. My wonderful husband saw this and calls it my beetle giraffe nails :P lol I love him!

Overall, I have to say that I am obsessed with these!! If you have the means to get them you totally should! You just can't catch all of the color shifts unless you have a bottle or the polish right on your hand.

If you would like to find any or all of these polishes you can find them here: http://doctorlacquer.storenvy.com
